CE: 4 hrs 'There's an IAR Form for That!' (qualifies for both Broker & Managing Broker credit)
Confident transactions start with the right forms—and knowing how to use them.
In There’s an IAR Form for That!, you’ll take a deep dive into Indiana’s legal forms library and learn how to properly use and protect these essential tools in your real estate business. Whether you're working with residential or commercial clients, buyers or sellers, this course provides the insight you need to reduce risk and stay compliant.
Topics include:
- Correct usage and application of IAR forms in a variety of transaction types
- Legal considerations, including copyright protections, antitrust concerns, and the unauthorized practice of law
- How to avoid common compliance mistakes that could lead to legal exposure
- Best practices for using forms ethically and efficiently
BONUS DEEP DIVE: Better Together - Putting It on Paper
The IAR legal team does the heavy lifting when it comes to drafting our transactional forms, but it’s still up to you to understand how, when, and why they’re used.
In this bonus installment of Better Together, we’re connecting collaboration to contract language. Because when agents confidently use the right forms at the right time, communication improves, expectations are clearer, and closings move forward with fewer surprises.
The more we understand the paperwork behind the process, the stronger we are at the table... together.
This 4-hour course is designed for both Managing Brokers and Brokers and will give you the confidence to navigate complex transactions with clarity and professionalism. RECP will report your completion to IPLA and your local association.
This course accounts for 4 hours of Real Estate Broker and Managing Broker Continuing Education Credit.
NOTE: Licensees who are in their first 2 years of licensure will not receive credit from attending this course. Newly licensed Brokers: You must complete a state-approved 30-hour Broker postlicensing course within 2 years of your license issue date, which is required and satisfies your initial CE requirement during the first 2 years of licensure.
